Transdev Sydney proudly operates the light rail and transports over 8.4 million sydneysiders and visitors annually. The light rail operation incorporates 12.7 kilometres of track from Central Station, via Darling Harbour, Pyrmont and Leichhardt through to Dulwich Hill, with 23 light rail stops.

Sydney light rail project

We work with local councils, community groups and residents to continuously improve our services, to ensure we remain as Sydney’s Light Rail operator of choice for many years to come.

In October 2014, Transdev Sydney was named preffered tenderer for the new 12-kilometre CBD and South East Light Rail (CSELR) project, as the ALTRAC consortium, alongside other members Alstom Transport Australia Pty Ltd, Acciona Infrastructure Australia Pty Ltd and Capella Capital.
