LIGHT RAIL PROUDLY SUPPORTING AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA

Media Release by Transdev Sydney

Sydney’s Light Rail operator, Transdev, will proudly support Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea this Thursday 26 May.

Managers from Transdev will be talking to customers and collecting gold coin donations in exchange for a cup of coffee at the Dulwich Hill light rail stop between 7am and 10am, in conjunction with their quarterly Meet Our Managers sessions.

Transdev’s Meet Our Managers sessions enlist the help of senior staff to engage with customers and experience what it is like on the frontline.

The feedback from customers is then used to help improve services and address particular issues that customer may be experiencing. It also gives senior staff a taste of what frontline staff experience day to day.

Transdev is an organisation that thrives on working with local people and connecting communities and has a long history of supporting various causes.

Staff are already encouraged to sacrifice a certain amount from their salary each month to one of their four Spirit Giving Payroll Program organisations in Australia for cancer awareness and research, animal welfare, mental health awareness, and caring for sick children.

In addition, Transdev are proud to support various fundraising events throughout the year, including the Cancer Councils’ Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
